Los Angeles improviser: Erin Muroski

Erin Muroski

Erin Muroski is an actress and writer in Los Angeles. Originally from Orlando, FL, she has a theatre degree from Rollins College and a hurricane-ready kit she still keeps under her bed . . . in LA.

She currently studies improv at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade and performs in two LA-based teams. She’s a company member of ACME Comedy Theatre in Hollywood Dream Role. Erin is most proud to be "The Ginger" in the 2 years running LA HotList winning team Duchess Riot – Ye Female Improv (www.duchessriot.com). The eight talented women of Duchess Riot perform all over LA including The Comedy Central Stage, iO West, The Loft, and many more including their monthly residency show at the ACME Comedy Noho theatre.

As a writer, Erin won a fellowship for her pilot based on her year in Singapore as a theme-park actress through the Writer's Boot Camp. She's written dozens of sketches, shorts, and has a ballsy, and fresh 2 Broke Girls spec. Erin recently started classes at UCLA Extension towards the Writer's Program certificate in television writing.

Erin braved two years in the snow of New York City, thirteen months sweating more than she thought humanly possible in Singapore, and settled in the exotic jungles of North Hollywood. She can do a spot-on Betty Boop impersonation, but don’t you dare ask her why.

Erin has degrees in dance and copyediting that serve no purpose but to make her parents proud. Sort of.
